The Dusk Till Dawn Club Championships represents a celebration of the Club entering it’s 10th year of operation, and an opportunity for supporters of the Club to earn the right to be called Club Champion.
There are Championship events for each of the key elements of our poker playing community, Ladies, Seniors, PLO players, 6 Max players, and all culminating in the Main Event on the 1st & 2nd January, to find THE Dusk Till Dawn Club Champion. In addition, there will be a Team event at the beginning of the week, to recognise the spirit of community that we have at Dusk Till Dawn.
All events are Freezeouts, with no option to reenter once you have been eliminated.
For the live events, our main stipulation is that you have visited the club this year.
|11th to 15th||£1,350|
|16th to 20th||£1,000|
When does it run?
The full schedule is available above, Club Championships will take place at Dusk Till Dawn between 27th December 2016 and 2nd January 2017.
Is there a trophy?
Yes, there will be a trophy for the Winner of each event.
Who can play the events?
Anyone who has visited Dusk Till Dawn at least once during 2016.
What is the minimum age for the Seniors Event?
Open to players aged 50 and over on the day of the event only.
What are the re-entry Rules?
There is no re-entry allowed in any of the events. These are events to find a Champion in each discipline.
How does the team event work?
The team event is open to teams of 3 or 4 players. Players will play the tournament as individual players, but with the finishing positions of the three highest placed players counting to the final score. Winners, & places, will be calculated by adding together the placings of the best 3 players in each team, with the lowest score being the winner. In the event of a tie, if all teams involved in the tie have 4 players, the place of the 4th placed player will be the deciding factor. If all teams involved in the tie haven’t got 4 players, the placing of the highest placed player in each team will be the deciding factor.
The prizepool will be paid out two thirds to the best placed teams, & one third to the best placed individual players.
Final payouts will depend on number of entrants.
I want to play the team event but haven’t got a team?
You could post on the Dusk Till Dawn Group on Facebook (Dusk Till Dawn Poker Forum), and round up a team there. Alternatively, you could turn up on the day, and we will try to help you join a team to play in.
Will there be other Tournaments and cash games if I bust out?
There will be an evening tournament on each day of the Championships, plus Cash Games starting as soon as there are enough players.
