A list of End-of-Day-1 chip stacks and their choice of Day 2 is available in the tab below.

If you have any questions regarding your stack please email heidi.hilson@dusktilldawnpoker.com

  1. What is the starting stack of the DTD 100?
    100,000 chips.
  2. How many days is the tournament?
If you make it through Day 1 to the final day you’ll play 2 days of poker.
  3. Can I buy-in directly to Day 2?
  4. How much will it cost to enter Day 2 and how many chips will I receive?
Day 2 buy-in is the same as Day 1 buy-in (£100+10), and you will receive the same number of chips (100,000).
  5. What is the late registration period of the DTD 100?
On Day 1, you can register up until the end of level 8 of the tournament. You can also buy-in directly to Day 2 for the first 4 levels of the day.
  6. What will the blinds be at the beginning of Day 2?
The blinds will roll back to 1,000/2,000 at the beginning of Day 2. Click here for the full structure.
  7. Can I re-enter?
Yes you can, but it’s only 1 re-entry per Day 1 (You can also buy-in and re-enter once to Day 2).
  8. How do I qualify for the DTD 100?
You can qualify on partypoker by looking under Live Events > Dusk Till Dawn [DTD] > DTD 100 [DTD] in the partypoker lobby.
  9. What’s the min cash?
    A min cash is £200.
  10. How does the new Button pays the Ante work?
Click here for an explanation of how Button Ante works.
The new Button pays the Ante concept described by Simon Trumper:
“We all know collecting antes slows the game down, especially when having to remind players to post or making change, also sometimes one gets missed and time is wasted working out who it was. By having the button pay a single ante, as well as being easier for the dealer to control it should be self policing as the cut off or sb will also remind them to post and we wont ever have a missing ante situation, the amount is easy to remember as it matches the BB and the game will be much quicker to deal resulting in more hands per level and less stress for both players and dealers resulting in a more enjoyable experience.

The number of 25’s can be halved as they are now only needed for the 150 and 250 sb which means all ins will be easier to count and will stop the ‘small chip’ hoarders and generally the BB will be cheaper than standard ante. EG: Blinds 600 1200 200 ante cost 1800 per round but with button ante its only 1200. The CPR ( cost per round ) %age increases are a lot better than a traditional ante which often has 50% jumps whereas with Button Ante the maximum is 33% so the structure will play a lot better for all styles of players.

Only issues are when SB gets knocked out and we have a dead button, the simplest and fairest way is to have no Button Ante posted when this happens and also when play is short handed ie 6 or less players left at which point the button ante becomes half the BB which will be similar to traditional structure. EG At 2000 4000 400 ante cost per round on 6 Max would be 2400 with Button Ante 6 handed it would halve from 4000 to 2000.

I think the time saved as well as the removal of irritation when dealers have to constantly remind players, make change eg break a 100 / 500 for a 25 / 100 will definitely increase the number of hands dealt which can only improve the game especially when a shorter clock is required.”
