    • Citywest Hotel is just a 25 minute drive from Dublin International Airport. There are direct flights to Dublin from most UK airports, as well as many major European cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, Málaga, Madrid, Frankfurt, Brussles and Copenhagen. There are also direct flights from New York and Boston in the USA, Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE and Toronto in Canada.

      • Leave Dublin Airport and follow signs for the M50 Motorway southbound.
      • Travel on the M50 southbound through the toll bridge and take exit 9 off the M50 towards Limerick and Cork.
      • After approximately 8 km you will see a sign for Citywest Hotel, labelled 3a, take this exit.
      • Exit off the N7 and carry on straight for approximately 1km and the Hotel entrance will be on your right hand side.
    • Directions from Dublin City Centre:
      • From the City Centre, follow signs for the N7/Cork/Limerick/ Naas Road southbound.
      • Continue onto the N7 and after approximately 8 km you will see a sign for Citywest Hotel, labelled 3a, take this exit.
      • Exit off the N7 and carry on straight for approximately 1km and the Hotel entrance will be on your right hand side.
    • Directions from Dublin Port:

What is the Irish Open 2018?
The Irish Open 2018 is one of the most popular events in the European Poker Calendar which partypoker are proud to be a Main Sponsor.

How old do I have to be to play?
Players must be at least 18 years of age to enter the 2018 Irish Open.

If I win a seat what will happen?
Players who win a seat to the 2018 Irish Open will be contacted by email up to three working days after winning their seat. This will explain the registration process.

If I finish in the money how will I be paid?
All players who cash in the Irish Open Main Event will be paid out locally as per the event organisers terms and conditions.

How many chips will I receive for buying into Day 1 directly?
All players will receive a 30,000 starting stack.

How long does the tournament last?
The tournament has two Day 1s and will play out for four days in total.

Can I choose my Day 1?
Yes, players will have full flexibility with their Day 1 choice.

Can I transfer my entry to somebody else?
The first entry should be used by the seat winner. Second and following entries can be sold/transferred to another player, but must be used for the Irish Open.

 

Terms and Conditions

Irish Open 2018

  1. Every player’s first seat won is a contribution to the Irish Open 2018 Main Event prizepool. The first prize will be used an entry to this event and cannot be transferred or sold.
  2. Players who win more than one seat for the event in these satellites will be subject to partypokerLIVE multiple seat rules where they can transfer the seat to another player.
  3. Each seat won consists of Irish Poker Open prize consists of 1 X €1,150 buy-in (€1025+125)
  4. All winners must be above the legal age to gamble depending on where the Event is located and winners must be eligible and able to travel to the Event at their own cost, including being able to obtain any and all documents required for travel to that destination.
  5. Seat Only winners are also responsible for organising and paying transportation to the Event and for having and maintaining any travel insurance and meeting all other expenses incurred in attending the Event.
  6. Management decision is final.
  7. Errors and omissions excepted.

TV (Live Streaming) and General Media Rules

  1. partypoker LIVE events are often filmed for future TV and/or live streaming productions, by participating in any partypoker LIVE event you also agree that we can use your name, photo or video footage in any way we see fit, and you grant us global image rights to use this material.
  2. Players playing on the TV table agree that we can broadcast their play on a short delay over the Internet, or on TV and create highlights videos and full videos of all play on the table. Players do not have the right to opt out of this coverage.
  3. Players playing on the TV table are required to position their hole cards in such a way that the table can read the cards and display the cards on the steam / video footage, as directed by the Dealer, and / or Floor Staff or Media Team.  Players do not have the right to opt out ensuring their hole cards are read.
  4. Players on the TV table are not permitted to use their mobile devices whilst at the table including phones, tablets and laptops, and any such infringement will result in penalties. We cannot however prevent any players from receiving information from friends watching the stream elsewhere.
  5. The TV table may feature commentary from various people including but not limited to regular commentators and occasional guests. The opinions of the commentators and guests are their own and are not necessarily the opinions of partypoker LIVE.
  6. By playing a partypoker LIVE event, you agree to accept and adhere to these Terms and Conditions, failure to accept or adhere to these Terms and Conditions may result in players being disqualified from the tournament with no refund or financial compensation due.
